Our business is split into two parts, resurfacing/refinishing and concrete restoration and design. When it comes to concrete restoration and design, we have the experience and flexibility to meet any of your needs.

We have experience working with both interior and exterior surfaces in both residential homes and commercial multi-unit buildings. We offer engraving, staining, and stamping to help you change the look of your existing countertops and floors. We can also create a concrete overlay if needed.

As with our resurfacing business, we offer a 5 year warranty. When you choose Magic Surface for your concrete restoration and design needs, you will get a creative, new look that will last!

What are the design options?

Your concrete design will be unique and original. You can create a custom pattern for your driveway, patio, or interior flooring, which would then be engraved or stamped into the concrete, then stained. You can choose from a wide array of colors and dyes.

What is the difference between a concrete overlay and a concrete countertop?

A concrete countertop can be created either onsite or offsite. This requires rebar support and poured concrete, so it is a more costly option. A new concrete countertop takes two weeks to set and 28 full days to cure. A concrete overlay is the application of a concrete surface on top of your existing countertop. This can be done onsite in a week, and is ready for use immediately – at a fraction of the cost.

What’s involved in our process?

Our concrete restoration process starts with a thorough clean of the surface. We then apply the stains/dyes one coat at a time, allowing them to dry for 24 hours in between coats. We then seal and polish the surface, depending on the desired finish.

How long does the concrete restoration process take?

If you are getting a concrete design stamped or engraved into your concrete, the project will take 1-2 weeks. Concrete countertops are more complex, and because of the curing time, and can take up to a month to finish.

How much does it cost?

Each job can vary. We can generally provide estimates over the phone. Countertops require an onsite estimate. The quote includes a 5 year warranty. Some items that are considered in the estimate are the size of the surface, the existing damage, and whether or not the surface has been refinished previously.

What do I do to maintain it?

Maintenance for interior floors usually involves simple mopping with a dry or wet mop with a pH neutral cleanser. Residential floors may need to be buffed and waxed once a year. In businesses with more traffic, it may be necessary to apply wax at more frequent intervals. Exterior surfaces will need a new coat of sealant about every year.
